If you’re planning a staycation this summer, or simply looking for new rainy day options with the family, Cummings Properties has options. You can scale a rock wall at Boston Rock Gym, fight the zombie apocalypse at Mind Trek, or learn how to mambo at Kadanse, all without traveling farther than Woburn.
Now, Cummings’ newest leasing client brings another unique sports experience to the firm’s West Cummings Park campus.
At Pure Drive Golf, a 4,600-square-foot indoor golfing facility, golfers can virtually experience more than 100 famous “bucket list” golf courses from around the world. The facility – located at 224 West Cummings Park in Woburn – offers professional instruction, expert club fitting, and self-practice opportunities.
The center features five private golfing bays – designed and constructed by Cummings Properties – equipped with Trackman technology, which provides instant and fact-based feedback on 27 components of both swing and ball flight, and is a go-to resource for PGA players and televised golf events.
“Pure Drive Golf offers a variety of training aids that can help improve all aspects of a golfer’s game,” said owner Adam Kolloff. “Our facility is designed for players who want to experience the next level of indoor golf.”
Kolloff has more than 10 years of experience as a golf instructor. The New England native was mentored by Hall of Fame golf instructor Jim McLean, and worked alongside McLean for seven years. Prior to launching Pure Drive Golf, Kolloff was director of instruction at Liberty National Golf Course in New Jersey, site of the 2017 Presidents Cup. He is also ranked by Golf Digest as a Best Young Teacher in America and a Best Teacher in the state of New Jersey.
“My vision has always been to open a facility where any golfer can practice and learn using the same technology as the pros,” added Kolloff. “It’s been so gratifying to work with the team at Cummings Properties to make that vision a reality.”
