Center for Autism and Related Disorders opens Cummings Center location

Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD) has established a new location in Cummings Center. The Beverly site is the sixth CARD office to open in Massachusetts. “We are very happy with our new Beverly location,” said Nicole Chatigny, regional manager for CARD. Founded in 1990, CARD has more than 180 locations in 32 states. Its clinicians specialize in using applied behavior analysis in the treatment of autism spectrum disorder. The curricula can be tailored to the specific needs of individuals, helping them learn to communicate, develop friendships, and build life skills. The nearly 3,400-square-foot location at 100 Cummings Center features a sensory gym, which helps children with special needs develop their sensory, communication, and motor skills while improving fitness. New England Women’s Healthcare opens office in West Cummings Park

Woburn area parents-to-be now have additional resources to guide them through pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care. New England Women’s Healthcare recently leased offices with Cummings Properties in the medical hub at 800 West Cummings Park, on Washington Street. The practice launched earlier this month. Local real estate magnate and philanthropist Bill Cummings has written an autobiography, due for release on March 1. “Starting Small and Making It Big: An Entrepreneur’s Journey to Billion-Dollar Philanthropist” chronicles his life from his humble beginnings in Medford to his membership in the Giving Pledge, an organization for the world’s wealthiest people. Cummings, age 80, is known locally for founding commercial real estate firm Cummings Properties and growing it from one small building to an 11 million-square-foot portfolio, mostly north of Boston. Caesar Creek Software has leased 5,500 square feet of office space at 400 West Cummings Park in Woburn. The new office is the company’s first location outside of its Miamisburg, Ohio headquarters. Caesar Creek Software provides cyber research and development services to the federal government.
